How do I find Peer-Reviewed or Refereed journal articles?

When a source is Peer Reviewed, it means a group of experts have reviewed it to assure its credibility and quality. Peer-reviewed sources also are often referred to as "Refereed."

Many databases give you the option to refine your results to peer-reviewed journals only. Look for an option that says "Peer Reviewed, Scholarly or Refereed." For example, Academic Search Complete has a filter located on the lower-left side of the page.
