How do I find citation metrics?
Answer
The NMSU Library subscribes to Journal Citation Reports, available through our subscription to Web of Science, and can be found under "Products" in the upper right-hand corner of the landing page of Web of Science.
The NMSU Library does not subscribe to Scopus from Elsevier. However, individuals can create a personal account with limited access to Scopus, which may provide the needed information.
Google Scholar has free resources but may not have enough detailed information.
Overall, It is important to make sure your ORCID ID is correct. You may also want to create author accounts in Scopus, Journal Citation Reports, and Google Scholar. If you require more assistance, you can schedule an Appointment with a Research Librarian. We can work with you individually to find the metrics you may need.
